First Impressions: Calm, Warm, and Surprisingly Light
The Sunshards present well right out of the box: a warm gold finish, clean lines, and sharp black inking that keeps everything readable. They have a polished, understated shine that’s easy to appreciate without feeling overdone.
“Light as a sunbeam dancing on the leaves.” — a description that fits their feel and appearance.
Like the Starrazors, they were lighter than expected. Given their metallic look, I anticipated more heft; instead, they share that same mythril-light feel. Not bad—just different from what the appearance suggests.
Rolling Experience: Solid, Steady, No Drama
Where the Starrazors immediately felt dramatic and “save these for the big moments,” the Sunshards gave me a quieter first impression. Early rolls were good—promising without theatrics. They’re dependable, consistent, and easy to read at a glance, which matters during longer sessions.
Where They’ll Fit at My Table
These aren’t debuting in a dramatic opening scene. I see them used on nights where readability and no-nonsense rolling are the priority—persuasion checks, investigations, and quieter beats where I don’t need anything flashy.
